Wake The F*Ck Up!
Build a life you don't want to escape

Ryan Gray, Coach & Entrepreneur
Self-inquiry & autonomy coaching for high functioning adults that are running on fumes and wondering what it's all for.
Most of the people I work with aren't in crisis.
Their job's fine. The relationships are fine. The numbers are fine. From the outside, nothing's wrong — which is part of what makes it hard to talk about. But the things that used to work to keep them moving — the late hours, the discipline, the next goal, the next trip, the next partner, the next something — aren't quite working the way they used to.
They haven't fallen apart. They've just started to hear that little voice in the back of their head saying: Is this it? Is this my life?
Listening to that voice is the work.
What I Do
I started out as a productivity and mindset coach. I wanted to help people be more productive and ultimately bridge the gap between who they are, and who they want to become. But I started to see a pattern.
My productivity clients had no idea what was really driving them, or why they wanted to be more productive in the first place. We would come up with these elaborate, deeply personalized ways of accomplishing more, but we never stopped to ask the question – Why is doing more always the answer to the problem?
So I shut it down. I started to question my entire process, and really dig at the root of the challenges my clients were facing. It ultimately led me to the fundamental understanding that – more does not mean better.
My clients were using productivity as a way to hide from themselves.
I'm trained in NARM (the NeuroAffective Relational Model). I'm not a therapist. I'm a coach for people who are done with surface-level fixes and want to do the actual work.

Why Me
I spent twelve years as a First Responder. It was useful work and I was good at it.
I was also drinking too much, working too much, and using all of it to stay one step ahead of myself. It took a failed engagement, walking away from the career, and eighteen months of travel to find the patterns that had been running me since I was a kid.
This work isn't theoretical for me.

WTFU Stands for Wake The F*ck Up
Waking up means coming to the realization that your life is yours to live. There are no rules to this thing.
By practicing self-inquiry we can learn to identify patterns in our behavior. When we develop the skill to identify patterns we can then take corrective action – ultimately becoming autonomous & rewrite the script we were given at birth.
